A pair of Rafael Python 4/5 air-to-air missiles in 1:32 scale from the Czech brand Kopecky Scale Models. This is armament to be carried under a model of an aircraft, not a kit of an aircraft.
Responsibility details are not available.
A pair of resin missiles for carriage under a model of an aircraft in 1:32 scale. This is not a kit of an aircraft nor a part of one, but separate armament. The manufacturer states two pieces. It does not name a base kit, so you choose the aircraft and its carriage system yourself. Kopecky Scale Models is a Czech brand of accessories for 1:32 and 1:48 scales.
The Python is a series of Israeli short-range air-to-air missiles from the Rafael company. The Python 4 introduced an agile airframe with large canards and infrared guidance; the Python 5 brought an imaging infrared seeker on the same airframe and the ability to be launched at a target far off the line of flight, that is, even against an aircraft behind the carrier. Because both versions share the shape of the airframe, a single casting covers them both; what differs is the seeker, not the outline. The missiles are carried by the Israeli Air Force and they are used in a ground-based air defense fit as well.
Wash the parts free of resin residue and cut off the print supports, protecting your breathing while sanding. Resin is joined with cyanoacrylate glue (super glue), cement for polystyrene will not bond it, and a primer coat is mandatory. The body of the missile is a surface of revolution, so do not sand the parting seam flat; restore the circular cross-section. Glue the canards on last, as they break off easily.
This is an accessory for a model, not a kit. The base kit, glue and paints are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
