The brand carries two separate sets: this one with the pylons under the wing and another with a single pylon on the fuselage centerline. The F-5E has five external store stations and two rails at the wingtips; four of the five lie under the wing, the fifth on the fuselage centerline. If you need only the fuselage pylon, that is a different set.
The Northrop F-5E/F Tiger II is a light supersonic fighter of the seventies, the most widespread machine of its kind with allied air forces. The underwing pylons carried bombs, rocket pods, guided missiles and drop tanks; at the wingtips there were in addition launch rails for infrared-guided air-to-air missiles. Factory plastic usually simplifies the pylons and they lack the small locks and tubes.
Wash the parts free of resin residue and cut off the print supports, protecting your breathing while sanding. Resin is joined with cyanoacrylate glue (super glue), cement for polystyrene will not bond it, and a primer coat is mandatory.
This is an accessory for a model, not a kit. The Hasegawa, Revell or Kitty Hawk base kit, glue and paints are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
