Lifecolor XS17 German Railways Colors WWII Era

A set of modeling paints of the Italian brand Lifecolor, the manufacturer's part number XS17. This is not one bottle but a set of period shades of the German railways of the Second World War period. The paints are acrylic with a water-thinnable binder and are applied by brush as well as airbrush. The number of bottles and the volume of the set are not stated here. What the set solves

The period railway shades carry a name as well as a number according to the RAL standard. The set puts them together, so the individual codes do not have to be looked up one after another. The manufacturer also offers the same period shades as separate bottles, for example Eisengrau RAL 7011 under the code UA843. Because RAL is an internationally used standard of shades, every shade can later be replaced by number with any brand.

Use

• Airbrush: thin with water or with Lifecolor thinner to a milky consistency and spray at low pressure.
• Brush: several thin coats, let each one dry through completely.
• On metal and on resin apply a primer first.
• Stir the bottles before work, the pigment settles to the bottom.
• Under decals give the surface a coat of gloss varnish compatible with acrylic.

For builders of period locomotives, carriages and railway equipment who want the basic shades together. Work in a ventilated room and do not leave the paints within reach of children.
