Responsibility details are not available.
An injection-molded plastic kit in 1:24 scale from the Japanese brand Hasegawa. The box defines it as a Lancia Delta HF Integrale with a sixteen-valve engine in the livery of the Italian Sanremo rally of 1989. It is a Group A rally car with all-wheel drive, widened fenders and a stripped interior, not a civilian hatchback.
The Delta HF Integrale was the peak of the Lancia rally program, which between 1987 and 1992 brought six manufacturers' titles in the World Championship in a row. The 16v version received a turbocharged 2-liter four-cylinder with sixteen valves, higher output and a noticeably domed hood under which the engine fitted. In the World Championship the 16v made its debut at the Italian Sanremo rally in 1989 and won that debut. The cars did not run there in the traditional white but in the red livery of the main sponsor.
Red shades cover less well, so apply the paint over a light filler primer and in several thin coats. Finish the interior with its roll cage before you join the body to the chassis. Dry-fit the widened fenders and check how the wheels line up with them. Lay the decals onto gloss varnish, settle them with a decal softener and go over them with a second coat of varnish so that the edges disappear. Leave the chassis and the tires matte.
The model is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
