MiG-15 DUAL COMBO 1:48 (Eduard) is a Royal Class limited edition with two complete kits - the MiG-15 and the MiG-15bis - and rich extra equipment.

Two complete kits in one box: the MiG-15 and the MiG-15bis in 1:48 scale from new molds of the Czech maker Eduard. Royal Class is a limited edition to which Eduard adds equipment that is otherwise bought separately: pre-painted photo-etched parts, pre-cut masks for the canopy, landing gear bay covers, two sets of resin wheels and two sets of 3D-printed seats including the belts. The decal sheet offers ten marking options.
The MiG-15 was the first Soviet mass-produced jet fighter with a swept wing and over Korea it became an unpleasant surprise for the air forces there. It was powered by the RD-45 engine, derived from the British Nene. The armament was made up of one 37 mm cannon and two of 23 mm, a set aimed rather at bombers than at dogfights with fighters. The later bis version was given the more powerful VK-1 engine and reworked airbrakes on the rear fuselage, which have a different shape from those of the first machines. The aircraft served in dozens of countries and was built under license in Czechoslovakia and in Poland as well.
Both versions are built alongside each other, so it pays to keep the parts of the two kits apart from the start. Finish the cockpit and give it a clear coat before you close the fuselage up. The pre-painted photo-etched parts are thin, so glue them with super glue in tiny drops. Smooth metal surfaces call for a flawlessly smoothed base, as every scratch left by sanding shows under a gloss.
The models are supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and other accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
