This is a small accessory for dioramas, not a model of a vehicle: a set of public water outlets, that is street taps where people draw water, in 1:72 scale. The box states three pieces. The maker is the Ukrainian brand Spalah, which 3D-prints its parts from photopolymer resin. In a diorama it is an element that says at once that this is an inhabited place rather than empty country, and in scenes from conflict areas it can tell a whole story.
Public water outlets are an ordinary part of urban and rural infrastructure in many countries, and where the water supply has been cut they become the only source. The shape is usually simple, a vertical pipe with a tap and a drainage grate or a shallow sump. In dioramas they are used as a reason why people gather in the scene.
Wash the print resin residue off the parts, cut the print supports away and sand the marks with respiratory protection. Glue with cyanoacrylate glue (super glue). Paint the metal over a dark base and let rust and limescale come through with pigments and fine earth shades. At the foot of the outlet it pays to suggest a wet patch with a gloss varnish, which adds a great deal to the scene.
This is an accessory, not a kit. Glue, paints and accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
