A plastic kit from the world of Star Wars that brings two legendary Imperial craft together in one package: the unfinished second Death Star and an Imperial class star destroyer. The set is from Revell and is designed as an easy snap-fit kit suitable for beginners as well. The models come with stands for display.
The second Death Star is the unfinished battle station from Return of the Jedi, a giant sphere able to destroy a whole planet. The Imperial class star destroyer is the wedge-shaped flagship of the Imperial fleet, the backbone of the Empire and its dominance in space. Both craft are among the best known symbols of the saga.
The parts snap together, so the build is quick. For firmer joints you can use a small amount of cement for plastic. The panel lines are picked out with a dark wash, which runs into the engraved detail and emphasizes the structure of the surface. Drybrushing with a lighter shade brings out the edges and gives the craft a sense of scale.
The model is supplied unassembled. Additional glue, paints and other accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
