Waterslide Decals - Only Numbers

Green Stuff World decals with numerals

A decal set from the Green Stuff World brand. The sheet contains numerals only, no letters and no emblems, so you can put together any number from them: a vehicle's serial marking, a production number, the number of a gaming unit or a label on a display base. The decals are applied onto a finished, varnished surface and, once dry, are varnished over. Compared with painting numbers by hand, a decal has the same thickness and shape on every piece, so a collection looks uniform.

What it is suited to

The set solves the situation where you need one particular number that is not on the decal sheet of a kit. From the individual numerals you can build up any combination step by step, so one sheet will mark a whole collection. It finds a use on military vehicles, on racing cars and on the display bases of figures in games where units are numbered.

How to apply the decals

• the surface under a decal has to be smooth and glossy; on a matte one a white edge appears
• cut the numerals out as closely as possible, so that the film around them is not visible
• dip them in lukewarm water for a few seconds and let them release on the paper
• line the individual numerals up in a row and check the spacing while the decal is still wet
• once dry, varnish the surface over; matte varnish hides the decal in the finish

The set is intended for modelers and for gamers who mark their units. The model, glue and paints are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
