This resin detail set is not a standalone model, but a set of replacement parts for the plastic MiG-29 kit from Great Wall Hobby in 1:48 scale. It contains finely cast countermeasure dispensers — that is, launchers for chaff against radar-guided missiles and decoy flares against infrared-guided missiles. You must own the base kit; the set only sharpens it.
The casting replaces the simplified plastic parts with more authentic resin ones, with sharper relief on the individual dispenser cells. It boosts the realism of the area where these dispensers sit on the MiG-29 and is a rewarding feature for photography and for a display case.
Carefully separate the small parts from the casting block — cutting with a sharp blade is better than snapping them off — and clean them up. Wash off any mold release residue. They are glued with cyanoacrylate (super glue); plastic cement does not hold on resin. Paint only after a primer coat; the metal cells and scorched edges are worth highlighting with a wash.
