The 3D-printed resin ejection seat Art Scale 1:72 ACES II for the A-10C Thunderbolt II – with belts replaces the cockpit seat of a model with a fine print including faithful restraint belts.
Responsibility details are not available.
This is a 3D-printed resin detail set, not an airplane model. It replaces the ACES II ejection seat in the cockpit in the version for the upgraded A-10C Thunderbolt II ground-attack aircraft, in the variant with faithfully rendered restraint belts. The scale is 1:72. Even in this small scale the print captures fine detail that is hard to reproduce in injection-molded plastic.
The seat is clearly visible even under the canopy of the ground-attack aircraft, and its fidelity lifts the overall impression of the model. The ACES II is an American zero-zero class ejection seat, used among others in the A-10 Thunderbolt II. In this version the belts are already part of the casting, so there is no need to add them separately.
Wash the small part free of mold release agent residue, cut it away from the print supports very carefully and clean it up. Glue it with cyanoacrylate glue; protect your airways while sanding. Apply a primer before painting and bring the belts out in a shade different from the shell of the seat.
This is not a complete model. The set does not contain glue, paints or a kit; it serves as an accessory to a base model.
