A set of accessory parts for models of ships of the Imperial Japanese Navy in 1:700 scale, the fourth part of the Neo series.
Responsibility details are not available.
Accessory parts for models of warships of the Imperial Japanese Navy in 1:700 scale. The abbreviation IJN in the name denotes that very navy, that is the surface ships Japan operated until the end of the Second World War. The numeral in brackets states that this is the fourth continuation of the Neo series; the individual parts differ from one another in their contents.
The package consists of small parts of ship equipment intended to complete a kit or to replace its coarser parts. The exact list and the numbers of pieces differ between the individual parts of the series, so go by the enclosed list from the manufacturer. At 1:700 scale the parts are very small; count on tweezers and good lighting of the workplace. You can also use them only in part, according to what you need to improve on your model.
The parts are not of polystyrene, so ordinary glue for plastic models has no effect on them. They are glued with cyanoacrylate glue, or with thin epoxy where you need time to settle a part into the right position. Cut the excess material off with a sharp blade a little away from the part and sand the rest carefully, so that the fine detail stays whole. Before painting, wash the parts in lukewarm water with a drop of detergent, let them dry and degrease them; only then apply a thin layer of base. The detailed procedure for preparation is to be found in the manufacturer's instructions.
A set of parts is supplied. The kit of the ship, paints and glue are not part of it, unless stated otherwise.
