MKA-02 Super Metallic Color Marker Orange is a DSPIAE metallic marker pen in an orange shade. It has two nylon tips 0.5 and 2.0 mm wide and a self-leveling binder.

Orange metallic paint is a warm and striking tone. On a model it suits the places where an area is to look lacquered rather than painted. The MKA line from the DSPIAE brand is built on very fine metal particles and on a binder that levels itself out after application, so no visible mark is left behind by a stroke and the area reflects light continuously.
The marker pen carries a tip 0.5 mm wide for lines, edges and lettering and a tip 2.0 mm wide for areas. The second tip is stored in the cap and is changed by simply pulling it out; no tool is needed for that. The tips are of nylon, so they glide over an already painted surface and do not tear it off. The manufacturer states that the contents can be squeezed out and thinned at a ratio of roughly two parts paint to one part thinner for application with compressed air.
Metallic shades look best on a smooth and rather glossy base, because a grainy surface scatters the light and the metal is lost. At the same time they are harder to overspray and to mask, so apply them only toward the end of the build. Try the first stroke on an offcut; it tends to be the most saturated and on the model it would stay visible as a darker patch.
Always put the cap back on after work, otherwise the tip dries out. Work in a ventilated room and do not leave the marker pen within the reach of children.
