Airscale Spitfire Mk.VIII cockpit sidewalls 1:24 is a resin detail set of the cockpit side walls for a large-scale model of the Spitfire Mk.VIII fighter; it is an accessory, not an aircraft model.
Responsibility details are not available.
A resin detail set from Airscale that replaces the side walls of the cockpit of the British Supermarine Spitfire Mk.VIII fighter in 1:24 scale faithfully. The set brings finely cast detail of the plumbing, the controls and the frame structure along the sides of the pilot's compartment. This is not an aircraft model but a cockpit detail accessory.
The Supermarine Spitfire Mk.VIII was an improved fighter version from the second half of the Second World War with a Rolls-Royce Merlin engine. The cockpit of the Spitfire had a characteristic tubular structure with a great many controls on the side walls, which are clearly visible in a large scale, and it is their detail the set captures.
Wash the resin parts free of mold release agent, cut off the casting blocks and sand the surfaces with your airways protected. Glue with cyanoacrylate (super glue). Paint the sidewalls in the interior shade and bring the fine detail out with dry-brushing and a wash. Fit them before the fuselage is closed.
This is a detail accessory, not a complete model. Paints, glue and the base kit are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
