This accessory from the British firm Airscale offers a seamless propeller spinner for the large 1:32 model of the German Messerschmitt Bf 109 fighter in the G-2 and G-4 versions from Revell kits. The one-piece, seamless form does away with the parting seam and with the need for filling, thanks to which the spinner has a perfectly clean, symmetrical shape. It is not a model of the aircraft but an upgrade part.
The spinner formed the aerodynamic cover of the propeller hub of the Bf 109. Its clean shape and smooth surface are key to the overall look of a Gustav model; with production parts made of two halves it is precisely the seam that tends to be the problem.
Clean any mold release agent and casting block off the part and glue it with super glue. Sand the mating face lightly before painting, paint it in the shades of the chosen scheme and add any spiral pattern with a decal or a mask.
This is an accessory, not a standalone model. The base kit, glue, paints and other accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
