An injection-molded plastic kit in 1:35 scale in the Double Combo form: in one box you will find two complete kits, one M3 version and one M3A1. The set is a new tooling from Andy's Hobby Headquarters and offers richly detailed work including the interior and the engine, photo-etched parts and driver figures.
The M3 half-track was an American armored half-track carrier of the Second World War, used to transport infantry, as a tractor and as the basis of a series of derived versions. The combination of a wheeled front axle and tracked running gear at the rear gave the vehicle good mobility across country. The M3A1 version differed from the basic M3 above all in modifications to the armament and the superstructure.
We recommend assembling and painting the running gear and the interior of the hull before closing the superstructure up. Use a thin modeling cement on the plastic, apply a primer before painting and spray with an airbrush. Washes and pigments for mud and dust effects suit a realistic look.
The model is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
