An injection-molded plastic kit of the Soviet 6x6 heavy off-road truck KrAZ-255B in 1:35 scale from the manufacturer Hobby Boss. The model has a detailed chassis, cab and engine compartment with a complete driveline. The exact content of the package and the number of parts are given in the instructions of the manufacturer.
The KrAZ-255B was a Soviet heavy off-road truck with 6x6 all-wheel drive, introduced from the second half of the 1960s as the successor of the older KrAZ-214. It was powered by a strong eight-cylinder diesel engine and marked out by large off-road tires with pressure regulation, which gave it high mobility across country. It served as a supply and tractor vehicle, as a carrier of bodies and as an engineer vehicle, and it spread through many armies.
Cut the parts from the sprues and glue them with liquid modeling cement for plastic. Assemble the chassis, the engine and the driveline first, and fit the large tires only after painting. Apply a primer and the paints with an airbrush, and bring the panel gaps and the details out with a wash. Finish the underside, the axles and the tires off with heavier mud and dust pigments matching use across country.
The model is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
