A detail set, not an aircraft model. It is a 3D-printed instrument coaming of the cockpit of the B-25 Mitchell bomber in 1:48 scale from Art Scale. The set contains the N-3B sight and the Astro Compass Mk.I. The parts replace the simplified features from a kit and markedly sharpen the look of the cockpit.
The instrument coaming and the instruments are clearly visible in the openly arranged cockpit of the B-25. Fine 3D printing captures structure and detail that injection-molded plastic cannot manage and gives the interior a realistic look.
Carefully separate the parts from the print supports and clean them up. It is bonded with super glue (cyanoacrylate). Apply a primer before painting; the instruments and the coaming will stand out once accented with a wash and gentle dry brushing.
This is an accessory for more experienced modelers. The parts are supplied unpainted and do not make up a standalone model.
