The Kettenkrad was a German light half-track tractor developed at the end of the 1930s and deployed during the Second World War. The combination of a motorcycle front end and tracked running gear gave it exceptional mobility off road. It was used to tow light guns and trailers, to lay cable and as a tractor in hard-to-reach places and on airfields. It was powered by an inline four-cylinder engine, and its low weight also made it suitable for airborne units.
First assemble and paint the tracked running gear and the steering interior, and only then close the hull. Glue the parts with liquid cement for plastic. Apply primer and the paints with an airbrush, bring out the recesses and panel lines with a dark wash and add mud or dust pigments for a faithful patina. Small parts in a small scale need careful cleanup.
The model is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
