A resin set from the Czech manufacturer CMK containing small cast navigation lights in four versions: clear, red, blue and green. This is not a model of an aircraft but a universal detail accessory with which you can replace crudely suggested or missing lights on the wingtips, the tail surfaces and the fuselage of aircraft models. The set is suitable above all for 1:48 scale.
Navigation lights are the colored beacons an aircraft carries to distinguish the left side from the right and for visibility at night. As standard the left wing is marked in red, the right in green and the tail in white. Parts cast from clear resin look more realistic than solid plastic bumps and can also be lit from behind with a colored backing.
Cut the parts carefully off the casting blocks; they are small and brittle. Glue with cyanoacrylate glue (super glue) or with a clear glue which does not fog the surface. A clear part can be tinted from underneath with the appropriate color, or you can use the colored variant directly. Finally polish them for the effect of glass.
The set is an accessory for aircraft models, not a kit in its own right. Glue and paints are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
