A 3D-printed pilot seat for the Focke-Wulf Fw 190D-9 in 1:48 scale from 3DF. A cockpit detail accessory, not a model.
Responsibility details are not available.
The set contains a 3D-printed pilot seat for the long-nosed Focke-Wulf Fw 190D-9 version in 1:48 scale. It is not a kit but a cockpit detail accessory, which replaces the plastic seat from the box with a more faithful part with a finely rendered shell and with detail that injection-molded plastic cannot manage.
The cockpit of the Fw 190 was built around a light shell pilot seat, completed with a supporting structure and seat belts. On the long-nosed Dora the seat is clearly visible in an open cockpit, so a faithful rendering of it lifts the overall impression of the model considerably. The printed shell captures the shape and the small structural details that an injection mold simplifies, and it prepares the cockpit for fitting seat belts and other accessories.
Separate the seat carefully from the print supports and clean it up; glue it with cyanoacrylate. Protect your airways when sanding resin. Paint the shell according to the interior standards and add seat belts (fabric or photo-etched) to suit the version.
This is an add-on detail set, not a model. The base kit, glue and paints are not included in the package.
