The set includes turned metal barrels for the 20mm Hispano cannons and .50-caliber (12.7 mm) Browning machine guns, including fairings (aerodynamic covers), in 1:48 scale. It matches the late wing version with rounded fairings and is designed to fit the Eduard model.
The accessory replaces the plastic barrels and armament fairings on a model of the fighter Supermarine Spitfire in the Mk.IXe and Mk.XVIe versions (late configuration with rounded fairings). Turned metal is finer and more accurate in shape than plastic and increases both the realism and durability of the finished model.
Safety: watch out for sharp edges and barrel tips; cut the parts carefully and glue in a well-ventilated space. Supplied unpainted — this is not a finished model.
