This set is a detail accessory, not an airplane model. It reproduces a pair of exhaust nozzles for the American bomber F-111 and its derivatives, in the A, B, C, D, E and electronic EF-111 versions, in 1:72 scale. The parts are cast in resin with fine surface detail of the petals and inner walls that a small plastic kit nozzle usually cannot capture.
The General Dynamics F-111 was an American supersonic combat aircraft with a variable-geometry wing, deployed as both a tactical and a strategic strike aircraft. The electronic variant, the EF-111 Raven, served to jam enemy radars. The distinctive rear nozzles are one of the most recognizable features of these aircraft.
Wash the resin parts to remove any mold release residue, carefully cut off the casting blocks, and glue with cyanoacrylate (super glue); sand with airway protection. Apply a primer before painting and use an airbrush for authentic metallic shades and heat-discoloration on the nozzles.
