An injection-molded plastic kit of the two-seat French Dassault Mirage 2000 multirole fighter in the B and D versions, in 1:72 scale from Italeri. The box makes it possible to build the B training version or the D strike version and offers several marking options for various air forces. The model has a detailed cockpit and finely engraved panel lines.
The Mirage 2000 is a French single-engine fighter with a delta wing from Dassault. The two-seat B version was created as a trainer for converting pilots onto the single-seat variants. The D version, by contrast, is a specialized two-seat strike aircraft for precise ground attack in any weather, equipped with a navigation and targeting system and able to carry guided munitions. Both share the characteristic delta wing and the two-seat cockpit, but they differ in equipment and in role.
Use liquid cement for plastic and work in subassemblies. Finish and paint the cockpit with its two seats before closing the fuselage. Apply primer before painting and lay the paints down with an airbrush. Assemble the drop tanks, the bombs or the targeting pod according to the version and scheme you choose. Attach the clear canopy with canopy glue.
The model is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
