Mr. Color Velvet Blue Metallic (Gunze)

A modeling paint from the lacquer Mr. Color range by Gunze in the Velvet Blue Metallic shade. It belongs to the special Velvet Color range with a velvet sheen whose look changes with the viewing angle and the ground underneath. It is thinned exclusively with Mr. Color lacquer thinners or Leveling Thinner, never with water. The paint is meant above all for spraying with an airbrush.

Use

• Spraying car bodies, mechanical parts and effect surfaces
• A blue metallic shade with a velvet sheen that shifts with the angle
• It comes out best over a dark (black) ground; a gray or white ground gives a different result
• Applied with an airbrush in thin coats

Who the paint is for

For modelers of Gunpla, cars, aircraft and science fiction subjects looking for a strong metallic effect. Metallic paints have to be stirred thoroughly before use (the pigment settles at the bottom), they look better over a smooth ground and are usually applied last, because they are harder to overspray and to mask.

It is a solvent-based lacquer - work in a ventilated area, away from an open flame and out of reach of children. Thin it only with lacquer thinner and do not mix it with acrylics or enamels.
