Markers draw on a model quickly, but a drawn line is hard to correct: a line taken too far or a slip of the hand stays visible on a finished surface. The erasure marker from the Gundam Marker line is the tool for that situation. It does not carry color, but an agent that dissolves the mark of a marker of the same line so that it can be wiped away, without having to sand the whole part down and paint it again.
Put the marker on the spot you want to correct, let the agent work for a short while and wipe the dissolved mark away with a clean cloth or a cotton swab. Work in small sections and change the swab often, otherwise you will only smear the dissolved color into the surrounding area. A fresh mark is the easiest to correct, because a dried one releases more slowly and the procedure has to be repeated. The most common use is cleaning up a line that has run outside the engraving, and small mistakes in the panel lines.
The agent also works on the paint under the mark you are removing. Try it first on a hidden area or on a scrap part and only then use it in a visible place. Do not press on the tip and do not rub the surface, as a soft clear coat is easily worn through. Close the marker carefully after work, or it will dry out. Work in a ventilated area and do not leave it within reach of children.
