The transfer (application) film from Omask, measuring 10x15 cm, is a transparent self-adhesive aid that makes it easier to transfer cut masks, fine parts and lettering from their backing paper accurately onto a model. The film is laid over the mask, the mask sticks to it and the two are transferred together onto the surface of the model in the right position; the transfer layer is then removed and the mask stays in place. It is not the mask itself but a tool for applying it.
For modelers who work with cut masks and lettering and want to transfer them accurately and without any of the parts shifting. Useful when applying multi-part templates, codes and markings.
It is an application aid, not a model and not a finished mask. Lay the film onto a clean, dry and degreased surface, so that both the transfer and the resulting mask hold well.
