1:72 Sukhoi Su-25 Frogfoot – kabuki masks at BASIC level is a mask set from New Ware for covering the canopy glazing and the wheels while painting a model of the attack aircraft in 1:72 scale.
Responsibility details are not available.
The set contains pre-cut masks of kabuki tape with which the canopy glazing and other areas that are to stay free of paint are covered before spraying. It is not a kit and not a set of accessory parts but an aid for clean, quick painting of a model of the Su-25 attack aircraft in 1:72 scale.
The manufacturer divides its sets by extent into the BASIC, ADVANCED and EXPERT levels. BASIC is the basic extent, aimed at the main canopy glazing and usually at the wheels as well; the higher levels extend the coverage to further items on the model. So if you mainly want to deal with the canopy and the tires and do not need the full outfit, BASIC is a sufficient choice.
The Sukhoi Su-25, NATO code name Frogfoot, is a subsonic attack aircraft intended for close support of ground forces. It has two engines in nacelles on the sides of the fuselage, a straight wing with a large number of pylons and a heavily armored pilot's compartment, which increases survivability while operating low over the ground. It is precisely the rugged, angular silhouette with its prominent canopy framing that makes masking the canopy on a model a fairly laborious operation.
This is an accessory for a model. The kit, paints and glue are not included in the package.
