A well painted figure looks unfinished on a bare table. A plinth gives it dignity, raises it to eye level and separates it from the background. This one is turned from wood, has a flat square upper surface measuring 3 x 3 centimeters and a black finished surface which does not overpower the model but forms a neutral frame for it. It is not a kit and not an accessory for a diorama but a finished plinth ready to use.
The package contains one wooden plinth with a square upper surface of 3 x 3 centimeters in black. The figure, glue and paints are not part of it. The height of the plinth and the finish of the underside may differ within this range according to the production batch.
Attach the model to the plinth with a pin: drill a hole in the underside of the figure and in the top of the plinth, glue in a piece of wire or brass tube and secure the joint with super glue. Glue on its own holds worse on a finished surface than a pin does. If you want to render the area under the figure as terrain, apply the material only to the upper face and protect the side of the plinth with masking tape so that it stays clean. The smaller size suits individual figures and small vignettes, where a larger plinth would look cumbersome.
The plinth is supplied on its own. The figure, glue and paints are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
