A modeling cutting knife (a scalpel) from the Japanese brand Tamiya with an ergonomic handle in a limited-edition mint green color. The sharp replaceable blade is intended for accurate modeling work – cleaning parts up, removing flash and finishing surfaces. A protective blade cover for safe storage is included.

Use

• Separating and cleaning up plastic parts from sprues (gate remains, parting lines).
• Trimming photo-etched parts, decals, masking tape and thin materials.
• Shaping and dressing putty once it has cured.
• Fine cuts and detailed work on plastic, resin and paper.
• Once worn, the blade only needs replacing with a new one and the knife cuts like new.
