Responsibility details are not available.
A large foot set for tabletop games as well as dioramas. It contains thirty-six hard plastic figures, specifically twenty-four longbowmen and twelve heavily armored foot soldiers, plus unit bases, seventeen flags, six standards, a painting guide and an information sheet. The figures are multi-part, so the builder chooses the poses and the weapons.
The set covers the time from Agincourt in 1415 to the siege of Orleans in 1429, the period when English superiority rested on the massed fire of longbows. The archers are in padded jacks in poses of nocking an arrow, of drawing and of shooting. The armored foot soldiers wear plate armor of rounded shapes and various types of helm, some of the bodies in a jupon with a coat of arms, some in bare armor. According to the manufacturer the figures can also be used as French, because the armor of the two sides differed hardly at all in style at the time.
Choose the arms and heads according to the intended formation, so that the unit looks coherent while the poses do not repeat. Build the steel armor from a dark base and the padded jacks from a mid value instead. Bend the flags over the handle of a brush before gluing them so that they look as though the wind is carrying them.
The figures are supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue and paints are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
