Responsibility details are not available.
A kit of the German heavy half-track tractor, which the specialist literature lists under the abbreviation sWS. This is a mixed-media package: the injection-molded plastic parts are supplemented by the maker's own three-dimensionally printed parts and metal accessories, the approach with which this brand refines the detail of small scales.
The heavy half-track tractor was created as a simplified replacement for the existing half-tracks, whose production was too demanding by German standards. It was built from 1943 until the end of the war and about 800 were completed. It carried a load of around three tons and towed a trailer of up to six tons, so it served to tow guns, to supply units and, in armored form, as a carrier for a multiple rocket launcher and anti-aircraft armament. Its chassis also appeared under an armored cab.
Rinse and clean up the printed parts before gluing; they are held by fine supports that are cut away with a sharp blade. Finish the running gear and the tracks before you seat the body, otherwise you will not reach them with a brush. The load bed and the tarpaulin are visible on this type, so it is worth painting them separately. Late dark yellow with coarsely applied patches matches the time when these tractors were being built.
The model is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
