A kit of the Soviet T-72 tank in 1:160 scale from the Czech maker Hauler. The model is made of resin and is meant mainly for N scale model railways, where this very scale is used. Its small size makes it an accessory to a scene: a tank on a wagon, on a hardstanding or in a column by the track.
The T-72 was a main battle tank of Soviet manufacture that became one of the most widespread tanks in the world. It carried a 125 millimeter gun with an autoloader, thanks to which a crew of three was enough, and its silhouette was for decades part of the basic image of the Eastern armies. It was built in many licensed and indigenous versions in a number of countries and its vehicles are in service to this day.
First wash the resin parts in lukewarm water with dish soap and let them dry out, and only then paint them. They are glued with super glue. In a scale this small there is no point in dealing with fine details; the impression is decided by the silhouette and the tone: choose a shade somewhat lighter than you would use in a large scale, because a small model goes optically darker. Suggest the dust and the mud with a hint only.
The model is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
