28mm Prussian Line Infantry and Volunteer Jaegers 1813-1815 (46 Figures) is a set of forty-six figures of Prussian line infantry and volunteer Jaegers.
Responsibility details are not available.
A set of forty-six unpainted figures of the Prussian army of 1813 to 1815, in 28 millimeter size. It contains line infantry and volunteer Jaegers alongside them, that is, two bodies of troops with a different role and a different appearance. The figures are in hard plastic and multi-part, so you put the poses and the weapons together as you like.
After the defeat of 1806 the Prussian army went through a deep reform and entered the Wars of Liberation as an entirely different force. Alongside the line regiments there appeared volunteer bodies of Jaegers, which the soldiers paid for themselves and which students and townsmen joined. They wore dark green coats and served as riflemen in a loose formation, because they often came with their own hunting weapon and knew how to handle it.
Separate the parts from the sprue with nippers at a distance and trim the rest with a knife. They are glued with ordinary modeling cement for polystyrene. Apply a primer. Paint the line infantry dark blue and the Jaegers dark green, both from a dark base toward lighter layers. The difference between the units will then be legible on the table.
The figures are supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
