A set of lacquer paints from the A-STAND line by AMMO of Mig Jimenez, aimed at metal surfaces under heat stress, that is mainly at the outlet sections of jet engines. The box states three bottles of 30 ml. These are lacquer paints with a very fine pigment, which the manufacturer intended for the airbrush.

Use

• Paint the outlet pipes and the tail cones separately, while they can be held away from the model.
• Apply thin coats and blend the shades; the transition between the tones is what makes the result convincing.
• The surfaces most colored by heat tend to be at the outlet itself, and toward the fuselage the color passes into a darker metal.
• Stir the bottle before every filling of the cup, as the pigment settles at the bottom.
• The line has its own thinner and cleaner, and the label gives the drying time.

Who it is for

For builders of jet aircraft for whom ordinary silver paint at the engine outlet is not enough. This part of a model tends to be the most visible and at the same time the one where the difference between quick and careful work shows most often. Three bottles of 30 ml will last many models, because it is applied only over a small area. The set suits the exhausts of piston engines and other heat-loaded metal parts as well. Lacquer paints are flammable and have a strong smell. Work in a ventilated area, protect your airways, do not work near a source of ignition and keep them out of the reach of children.
