Acrylic Paint Set - ATOM #Spanish Civil War Republican Vehicles (6x 20ml)

ATOM Spanish Civil War Republican Vehicles - a paint set (6 x 20 ml)

A set of acrylic modeling paints from the ATOM line by AMMO of Mig Jimenez. The box states six bottles of 20 ml and the subject of vehicles of the Republican side of the Spanish Civil War. ATOM is a water-based paint for brush as well as airbrush, which dries to a matte surface.

Use

• With a brush straight from the bottle; for an airbrush, thin it with the acrylic thinner of the same manufacturer to the consistency of milk.
• Its self-leveling behavior lowers the risk of brush marks on the large surfaces of a hull.
• Once dry it takes varnishes, washes and pigments.
• Always stir the bottle, as the pigment settles at the bottom.
• Do not thin it with lacquer or cellulose thinner.
• Seal the matte paint with a gloss coat before the decals, otherwise a white carrier film will appear under the decal.

Who it is for

For modelers interested in the vehicles of the Spanish Civil War of 1936 to 1939. The Republican side used mainly vehicles supplied from the Soviet Union and machines built in home workshops, so these are paints for a subject that is otherwise hard to put together. Six bottles of 20 ml will do for several models and suit figures and the accessories of a scene too. The particular shades are not listed by name here; the description on the bottles and the period documentation for the vehicle you are building are what count.

These are paints, not a toy. Keep them out of the reach of children, and when spraying with an airbrush ventilate the room and protect your airways.
