1:35 StuG/Panzer III Spare Wheels (75mm And 95mm, Pattern 'D') is a set of spare road wheels for the Panzer III and StuG III in 1:35 scale from Lithokraft.
Responsibility details are not available.
A set of spare road wheels in 1:35 scale from the manufacturer Lithokraft, the manufacturer's part number 350047. This is not a model of a tank nor a kit — these are separate wheels, hung on the hull or the turret, or used as a replacement for the parts from a kit. The box states two dimensions, 75 mm and 95 mm, and pattern 'D'.
The road wheels of the Panzer III tank and of the StuG III self-propelled gun had a rubber tire, and the figure in millimeters is its width on the real machine, not the dimension of the part. A set with two widths therefore covers more machines. The letter distinguishes the version of the tire and the disc; what pattern 'D' means is not stated here — compare it with the illustration on the box.
Wash the 3D printed parts free of print resin residue before painting, carefully cut off the carriers of the supports, and sand only with your breathing protected. They are glued with cyanoacrylate glue (super glue), ordinary cement for plastic will not bond them, and a primer coat is mandatory. A spare wheel tends to be the most worn item on a model: keep the tire in gray-black rather than gloss black, and distinguish the disc. Add dust and chipped paint more heavily than on the hull. First check how many spare wheels your machine carried and where it had them mounted.
Lithokraft keeps the same range in two versions: with both widths, as in this set, and with the 95 mm width only. Pattern 'D' came out in both; the 95 mm only variant has the number 350042. Patterns 'C', 'F', 'S' and 'V' exist as well. Compare the version with a photograph of the machine you are building. This is an accessory for a model, not a kit. The base kit, glue and paints are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
