The M2 Bradley crew figure set in 1:72 scale from the brand Spalah. Mind the scale — the same set also exists in 1:35. Resin figures to be assembled and painted; the box states 3 pieces.
Responsibility details are not available.
A set of three resin figures of the crew of the M2 Bradley infantry fighting vehicle in 1:72 scale. It is precisely the scale that is the difference from the sister listing: the same crew set also comes out in 1:35, and a figure from the other scale will be unusably large or small beside a model. The box states 3 pieces. Spalah is a Ukrainian brand that 3D prints its parts from photopolymer resin.
The crew of the M2 Bradley consists of three men — the commander, the gunner and the driver — and the three figures in the set correspond to that number. Besides the crew the vehicle also carries a six-man infantry squad, but that does not belong to this set; for them the manufacturer has a separate listing of dismounting infantry. In 1:72 scale a figure is about two and a half centimeters tall, so its main role is to give the vehicle scale and bring the whole to life, not to carry portrait detail.
Washing in lukewarm water with dish soap is the first step — it removes the mold release agent. Cut the casting blocks off, as breaking will damage the thin edges. Protect your breathing while sanding. Use cyanoacrylate glue (super glue) for joining; cement for plastic will not bond resin. Apply a primer coat as a matter of course, otherwise paint will not hold. In this scale do not paint the face in detail — overdone detail on such a small area looks coarse. Build on a clean outline, a pronounced boundary between skin and helmet, and on gentle highlighting of the edges.
The figures are supplied unassembled and unpainted. Paints and glue are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
