A set of 48 figures of German sailors of the Kriegsmarine in 1:200 scale from the Ukrainian brand Spalah. This is not a kit nor a part of a ship, but a crew to be arranged on the deck of a finished model or in a naval diorama.

A set of small human figures for large ship models in 1:200 scale. This is not a kit nor a structural part; it serves to populate the decks and superstructures of a finished model. The manufacturer states 48 pieces. Spalah is a Ukrainian brand and 3D prints its parts from photopolymer resin.
Kriegsmarine was the name of the German navy of 1935 to 1945. The crew of a large surface unit moved about the deck in working and in walking-out uniforms, while gun crews and lookouts at the fire control stations wore helmets and life vests. It is precisely human figures that give a model of a large ship a legible scale; without them even a carefully finished hull comes across as a technical drawing.
In this scale a figure is only a few millimeters tall, so the face is not painted in detail. What decides is the silhouette and the contrast of the uniform against the color of the deck. First wash the parts free of resin residue and carefully cut off the print supports, protecting your breathing while sanding. Resin is joined with cyanoacrylate glue, ordinary cement for plastic will not bond it, and a primer coat is mandatory.
The figures are supplied unassembled and unpainted. Paints and glue are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
