Responsibility details are not available.
This is a resin 3D printed kit for experienced modelers, of a self-propelled heavy infantry gun on the chassis of a light tank. The manufacturer states that the kit contains a separately printed chassis, track runs, the gun and further parts and that a set of decals is included in the package. It is supplied unpainted and unassembled.
The vehicle came out of the need to give heavy fire support some mobility. A 15 cm sIG 33 gun was set on the chassis of the Panzerkampfwagen I Ausf. B light tank, with a simple armored superstructure around it, open at the top and at the rear. Modelers know the vehicle as the Bison or the Sturmpanzer I. The conversion was carried out in 1940 by Alkett and just under forty machines were produced. You can recognize the Ausf. B chassis by its five road wheels per side.
Cut the print supports away carefully; protect your airways while sanding. Wash the parts and glue them with cyanoacrylate glue, because cement for plastic will not bond resin. A primer is essential, otherwise the paint will not hold and the decals will not settle smoothly. An open superstructure means the inside is visible: paint the gun and the interior before you close the superstructure up. Leave the pigments for last.
The model is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
