The Fine Art 0.3 mm needle is a spare part for the 130 and 180 series airbrushes. It replaces a bent or worn tip and returns the airbrush to its original spray accuracy.

A spare needle 0.3 mm in diameter for Fine Art 130 and 180 series airbrushes. Together with the nozzle, the needle is the most heavily stressed component of an airbrush: one drop of the gun or a careless cleaning is enough to bend the tip. Replacing the needle is the quickest way to bring the gun's behavior back without buying a new one.
A diameter of 0.3 mm is the all-purpose choice for a plastic modeler. It handles solid coverage of larger areas as well as soft camouflage transitions and a reasonably fine line. The needle must always match the nozzle it works with; a needle and a nozzle of different diameters cannot be mixed, and the result is leaking and spitting paint.
Before dismantling, release the rear chucking nut and pull the needle out backwards, never forwards through the nozzle, because pushing it through breaks the tip. Insert the new needle right up against the taper of the nozzle and only then tighten the nut. Never clean the tip with abrasive paper or a wire brush; a soft cloth moistened with cleaner is enough. Dried paint on the needle is the most common cause of an inconsistent spray.
This is a separate spare part, not a complete airbrush. The package does not contain a nozzle, a hose or paints.
