0.3 mm Nozzle for the Gaahleri Seeker

A replacement nozzle 0.3 mm in diameter for the Gaahleri Seeker airbrush. The manufacturer supplies it as a separate part for this model of dual-action airbrush with a top gravity-feed cup from the Advanced Series line. It is neither an airbrush nor a complete nozzle and needle set, but a single piece of nozzle.

What the nozzle does

The nozzle, together with a needle of the same diameter, decides how wide and how fine a spray the airbrush gives. The needle seats in the nozzle and thereby closes off the paint flow, so the state of the nozzle edge determines whether the airbrush seals and whether it draws a clean line. According to the manufacturer the Seeker has its nozzle in a quick-change mount, so it can be swapped without stripping the whole body.

Fitting and maintenance

• Pair the nozzle with a needle of the same size, that is 0.3 mm with a 0.3 mm needle.
• Do not force the needle into the nozzle; it seats on its own and goes no further.
• Clean with cleaner and a fine brush, never with a wire or a pin.
• Put a nozzle you have removed away in a box; a bent edge cannot be straightened.

For the Seeker the manufacturer offers nozzles of 0.3 and 0.5 mm. The same diameter in another Gaahleri line means a different part, because the geometry differs between models; the parts for the Seeker and for the Aventus are kept separate by the manufacturer. It is a spare part for an airbrush, not an airbrush. The airbrush, paints and thinner are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
