Responsibility details are not available.
An injection-molded plastic kit of the American battleship USS New Jersey in 1:1200 scale from the German brand Revell. Collectors and waterline builders alike will appreciate the small scale: the finished model is compact and yet catches the massive silhouette of one of the best-known American battleships faithfully. The box holds decals and a finely shaped deck.
USS New Jersey was one of the Iowa-class battleships of the US Navy. She served during the Second World War in the Pacific and again in the Korean War, and she is one of the most decorated battleships in the history of the US Navy. The main armament consisted of 406 mm guns.
In this tiny scale we recommend cleaning the parts up carefully, using a thin cement for plastic and laying the paint on in thin coats with an airbrush, so that the detail of the superstructure and the guns stays readable. Prime the surfaces, bring them to life with a fine wash and a light edge highlight. Apply the decals onto a gloss varnish.
The model is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
