A very sizeable injection-molded plastic kit of the German medium tank Panther Ausf.G in its late form, in the impressive 1:16 scale from the manufacturer Trumpeter. It is a demanding model with a great number of parts, individual track links, photo-etched elements, copper wire and a metal gun barrel.
The Panzerkampfwagen V Panther was among the most capable German medium tanks of the Second World War. It combined a powerful long-barreled 75 mm gun with good armor protection and mobility. The Ausf.G version was the most widespread and in its late form carried a number of production changes introduced at the end of the war.
Given the size and the number of parts this is a longer-term project. We recommend working in subassemblies: the running gear and the individual track links, the hull, the turret. Glue the plastic with a thin cement and the metal and photo-etched parts with cyanoacrylate. Extensive surfaces are ideally painted with an airbrush; finish the camouflage with washes, filters and pigments for convincing weathering.
The model is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
