Nissan Leopard in its two-door form in 1:24 scale from Tamiya. A Japanese luxury coupe of the 1980s with a movable sunroof and a driver figure.
Responsibility details are not available.
A kit of the Japanese luxury coupe of the early 1980s. The model is one hundred and ninety-three millimeters long and contains a detailed interior, a chassis with suspension, plated wheels, rubber tires and a figure of a seated driver. The sunroof is movable, so the car can be built open or closed.
The Leopard came on the market in 1980 as an answer to demand for a personal luxury car, that is, for a coupe meant not to be sporting but comfortable and well equipped. The top form had an inline six-cylinder engine of 2.8 liters with twin overhead camshafts and an output of around one hundred and forty-five horsepower. The equipment included self-leveling rear suspension, leather upholstery, a trip computer, cruise control and automatic air conditioning, which was unusual equipment for its day.
The angular body of the 1980s rests on flat surfaces, where every ripple in the paint shows, so spray in thin coats. Do not sand the plated parts. The interior with its trip computer deserves some fine brushwork, because it is clearly visible through the large windows. Do not glue the rubber tires with cement for plastic; it will not join them.
The model is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
