Responsibility details are not available.
An injection-molded plastic kit in 1:24 scale from the Japanese brand Hasegawa. The box defines it as a Nissan Skyline 2000GT-R with the KPGC110 code, that is the second generation of the GT-R model, and the Red Color addition in the name denotes the red body finish. It is a production coupe, not a circuit racer.
The Skyline 2000GT-R with the KPGC110 code was built only from January to April 1973 and fewer than two hundred came off the line, so among enthusiasts it is called the Phantom GT-R. Under the hood worked the S20 inline six-cylinder engine of 1989 cc with a DOHC valvetrain, four valves per cylinder and three Mikuni-Solex carburetors; the output reached 160 hp. The coupe was the first Japanese production car with disc brakes on both axles. Tightened emission rules ended production and, unlike its predecessor, this generation did not race.
Red shades cover less well than other colors, so apply them over a light filler primer and in several thin coats; otherwise the plastic seams will show through. Once dry, overcoat with a gloss clear coat and sand and polish the surface lightly so that the body gets a production shine. Do the chrome window surrounds and the badges with masking tape or a fine brush. Finish the interior and the engine before you join the body to the chassis.
The model is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
