A set of 3D-printed and already painted interior elements in 1:24 scale from the brand Quinta Studio. The box designates it for Tamiya kits and it carries the Small Version label, that is the smaller variant of the set; what exactly the smaller variant holds is not broken down by the manufacturer. The elements are printed in resin directly on the backing decal paper, have both relief and color and thus take the place of the long job of painting the instrument panel, the seats, the belts and the door cards.
The Peugeot 206 WRC was a rally special built for the top category of the world championship. Between 2000 and 2002 it took three manufacturers' titles in a row and Marcus Grönholm won the drivers' world championship title with it in 2000 and 2002. The interior of such a car has nothing in common with the production hatchback: a roll cage, bucket seats with six-point belts, a fire suppression system, a bulkhead behind the crew and a co-driver's console with gauges and controls.
The elements are not self-adhesive. The sheet is briefly soaked in lukewarm water, for roughly fifteen seconds, and the element is then slid off the backing paper and settled in place with tweezers. It holds on a gloss clear coat, for example Future, Klear or Tamiya X-22; a matte base is a mistake. Do not use a decal softener or a decal fixer, as their chemicals attack the printed resin. On a broken-up surface a drop of cyanoacrylate glue helps.
The set is an accessory to a model. The base kit, glue and paints are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
