A resin set of main wheels from the Ukrainian brand Armory, the manufacturer's part number ARAW24403. It is an accessory for a model, not an airplane kit. In the large 1:24 scale the wheel is one of the most closely watched parts of the whole model, and resin allows a tread pattern and lettering that injection-molded plastic cannot match. The tires are cast with a flattening at the contact patch, so after fitting the machine stands on its wheels as if loaded.
The Spitfire had hubs with three, four and five spokes as well as a fully covered rendition, and the types could be exchanged, though usually the same on both sides. Before buying, compare the tread and the hub with a photograph of the machine you are building. Wash the castings free of mold release agent, cut the casting blocks off and level the face; protect your breathing when sanding resin. Glue with cyanoacrylate glue and do not forget the primer coat. The block tread comes out best when a dark wash is drawn through it after spraying and the edges of the blocks are gently lifted with a dry brush.
