The Aber 1:32 armament set for the German Fw-190 fighter, versions A2 to A6, is a metal detail accessory with turned barrels that replaces the plastic armament with faithful metal parts.
Responsibility details are not available.
A metal detail accessory from the Polish company Aber, not an aircraft model. The set contains turned metal armament parts for the Focke-Wulf Fw 190 versions of the A series, specifically A2 to A6, in 1:32 scale. It covers elements of the MG 17 fuselage machine guns and of the wing cannons of the MG 151 series, which replace the plastic weapons on the model.
The Focke-Wulf Fw 190 was among the best German fighters of the Second World War. The A series versions carried a combination of MG 17 fuselage machine guns and wing cannons, and the make-up of the armament differed between the A2 and A6 sub-versions. Faithful barrels markedly increase the realism of a model.
Cut off the plastic barrels, drill holes in the parts and glue the metal parts in with cyanoacrylate glue. Degrease the metal before painting and go over it with a base coat of primer. The metal parts can also be soldered if needed.
This is an add-on accessory for a plastic model. The model itself, glue and paints are not included in the package.
