Injection-molded plastic kit of the American AAVP-7A1 amphibious assault vehicle for carrying troops, in 1:35 scale from Hobby Boss. The box contains plastic parts, individual link tracks, photo-etched parts, clear parts and decals.
The AAVP-7A1 is a tracked amphibious vehicle of the US Marine Corps, meant to land troops from ships onto the shore and to carry them on land as well. It moves both through water and across country and forms the backbone of landing operations. The letter P in the designation refers to the personnel carrier version.
We recommend finishing the running gear, the individual link tracks and the lower hull before you close up the upper sections. Leave the interior and the clear periscope parts for the right stage of the build. Use liquid cement on the plastic, spray over a primer with an airbrush and complete the weathering with washes and pigments.
The model is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
