An unassembled plastic kit of the British Churchill infantry tank in the Mk.V version in 1:35 scale from the manufacturer AFV Club. The Mk.V version is fitted with a cast turret and a 95 mm close-support howitzer instead of the standard gun. The package contains injection-molded plastic parts, metal coil springs for the suspension and photo-etched elements.
The Churchill was one of the heaviest British infantry tanks of the Second World War, typified by thick armor and a long tracked outline with a high ability to cross difficult ground. The Mk.V close-support version carried a 95 mm howitzer, which fired high-explosive, shaped-charge and smoke rounds in support of the infantry. Churchills fought in northwestern Europe and in the Mediterranean.
Give attention to assembling the running gear and the suspension with its metal springs. Use liquid cement for plastic, and glue the photo-etched parts with super glue. Apply the base coat with an airbrush and bring the surface to life with washes and pigments for mud and dust effects.
The model is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
